OUR CHURCH

Faith Christian Fellowship Church was established March 6, Pastor Kim and the Paengseong Baptist Church  opened their doors to us to go forth and minister.  The first worship service took place on March 6, 2005 with Rev. Donald L. Brown, founding Pastor presiding.  Present on that first Sunday were Sis. Hyon Brown, Sis Hye Hodges, Bro. William Quintero, Sis Chong Wolfe and Bro Patrick Schickle.

Part of the confession of faith for the church is to reach the souls of men, women, boys and girls.  We want to be a place of refuge for lost souls to find their way.  We will accomplish this mandate through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.  We are not moved by the number of people but by the Spirit of the Living God.  The Lord revealed that success is not measured by numbers but by our faithfulness and obedience to God.  The Lord said, And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John12:32)  As we reflect back at the six original people in attendance on that first Sunday we are encouraged by the increase that has followed.  We are fully aware that prayer, faith and love are vital in the growth of the church.  We believe in God; what He starts He will complete.

With the Lord’s help over the years the church has contributed to Hurricane relief, USO, Red Cross, sick and shut-in, and Paengseong Baptist Church.  In 2008 we began supporting missionaries in the countries of China, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Uganda and the Philippines.  As we grow spiritually and financially we hope to be of greater service to our Lord and the communities in which we live and work.  We thank God for the favor He placed upon us to do His will and His work.  To God be the glory, for He hath done great things for which we are eternally grateful.
