HOW FAITH COMES

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 

We receive faith through God's word. God and His word are one and cannot be separated one from the other. John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God." When we receive the word of God, we are not receiving mere words like that of man, but we are receiving the thoughts of God. Rest assured that within the word of God that we hear lies faith. When the promise comes to us through the word of God, we can know that faith is already there along with His promise. We need not worry or fear, for God's word is true. 

 

With the spoken word of God, not only comes the word of God but the faith to believe it. We must walk by faith, not by sight.  The writer of Hebrews says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).  Expect to receive from Him by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please Him.  There is an added benefit in believing in God 's word. He rewards those who expect to receive from Him. By faith in God, we come expecting to receive something from Him.

Faith – Forsake All I Take Him. No matter the problem, our God can solve them. Trust Him by faith and wait for His response.  

 

   

Let's Pray. 

Father God, thank You for Your word. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight as we hear Your word. Open our eyes that we may see You supernaturally working on our behalf in every circumstance. Help us Lord, to raise our level of expectancy by taking the limits off You. For with You all things are possible. Have Your way in our lives as we trust in You by faith. We pray this in the name of Jesus.
