DO THE WORKS OF GOD I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4 In John Chapter 9, there was a man that was born blind. The disciples of Jesus saw the blind man and asked who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus said to them, neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. God desires to work through us that He may be glorified, and the name of Jesus be lifted up, and the people of God be edified. We are to help one another, be it through our time, resources, actions and deeds. There is always work to be done for the kingdom of God. When we are giving and serving with a loving spirit, we are doing the works of God. As a result of our actions the lives of others will be impacted. Remember, all that we do, we do it to the glory of God. Let us work the works of Him that sent us while it is day just as Jesus did. He came to seek that which was lost, He gave up His life that we could reconciled to God for those that believe. Jesus did the work His Father sent Him to accomplish, thanks be to God, let us do the same. Let’s Pray.
Father God, thank You for the Your kingdom work and the work accomplished through Your Son Jesus. We thank You for the opportunity given us to do kingdom work. Thank You for Your favor being upon us to do Your blessed will. Thank You for helping us take Your Word to the world and see lives transformed for Your glory. Help us stand firm in Your Word that we all may grow in spirit and in truth. We pray to for a more intimate relationship with You as we come to You in prayer. Pray through us Lord by Your Spirit for You know what to pray for. We trust You Lord to make a difference in our lives as no one else can. Have Your way in us as we surrender our all to You. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
