WORSHIP THE LORD Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 1 Chronicles 16:29 Worship refers to the honor given in thought or deed to a person or thing. In our case we are to worship the Lord. The Word of God teaches us that God alone is worthy of worship. Psalm 29:2 says, Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness. The object of our worship is the Lord. In traveling around the world, we have seen many people that worship gods they could carry but not the God who could carry them. God Almighty alone is worthy of our worship. We were created to worship Him. Worship requires reverence. We must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) Our worship includes public expression, not just privately. This is especially true after having received a particular blessing we want to thank God for. Worship means service which we render to God and is not limited to church attendance but a life of obedience to God. Let us worship the Lord with our whole heart for being who He is. Lets Pray. Father God, we worship and adore You. Help us to always acknowledge your being in our lives, for You are worthy. Lord, just as You are the object of Israel’s worship, You are the object of our worship. Help us to always honor You in verbal praise, in word or song. You alone are worthy of our sincere worship and adoration. Help us Lord to walk upright in Your sight. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Be Blessed Because You are Blessed, Pastor Donald and Sister Hyon Brown
