BLESSED ARE THOSE THAT TRUST THE LORD
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
We that trust in the Lord are blessed. We can be confident in God’s ability to sustain our lives. We shall be like a tree planted by the waters, our root system firmly embedded. When heat (difficulty) comes, we continue to grow and stand victoriously in the Lord.
We shall not cease producing fruit even in the midst of drought (long-suffering). We are able to stand because of our connection (relationship) with the Source, the Lord God. See yourself as blessed for we are blessed. Glory to God!
Let’s Pray.
Father God, thank You for all of Your blessings. We trust in You, we have confidence in You Lord. No matter the problems, we know You can solve them. There is absolutely nothing You cannot do. We are grateful to You that we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. Help us grow daily as we exercise our faith in You. Have Your way in our lives. We pray this in the name of Jesus.
