ENCOURAGING GODLY LIVES

Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3

For believers, dedication to God is the foundation of commitment. Without it we are unable to offer God anything else. We must dedicate our bodies as a living sacrifice to God. This means we must avoid being conformed to the world but strive to be transformed by the word of God as Paul speaks of in Romans 12:1-2.

When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Proverbs 16:7) The Lord orders our steps, but it is up to us to walk them out step by step as He directs us. In doing so, we can experience God’s perfect will for our lives.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not to unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit we will never go wrong. He only leads us in the right direction. It is imperative that we follow Him, let us not get out in front of Him. Wait on the Lord.

Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” Let the Lord lead and direct us in all facets of our lives that our commitments will be accepted and honored. Let us lead Godly lives that will help impact the world. To God be the glory.

Let’s Pray.

Father God, thank You for Your direction and leadership. Help us to always be dedicated and committed to doing Your will and Your work and You are glorified in it. Help us to commit to You even in times of suffering just as Jesus did. Lord, we thank You for the words of encouragement we find in Your Word. You are the One in Whom we can find comfort and peace. Help us Lord to walk worthy as believers, for we have been made worthy because of Jesus. We are grateful for all You have done in our lives. Have Your way in us Lord,

even the more. We pray this in the mighty, wonderful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

Be Blessed Because You are Blessed,

Pastor Donald and Sister Hyon Brown
