A TIME TO PRAY
And this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask ant thing according to His will, He heareth us. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever e ask, we know that we have petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:1-2
“Father God, Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thank You for being our God, our Lord, and our Savior. Thank You Lord for the forgiveness of sin. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. We stand in awe of You as our Creator and for Your creation. Help us Lord to always remember who You are in our lives. We thank You for what You have done and for what You are yet doing in our lives.
Lord, help us to walk worthy of being Your children. Help us not forget the benefits and inheritance we have in You. We have so much to be thankful for despite the things that are happening in this world. Help us Lord not to allow our minds to be clouded but to acknowledge You in all our ways.
We pray for those in positions of authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life. We pray they rightfully use their authority for the good of all people. We pray for the sick to be healed. We pray peace for those that are confused. We pray for the homeless and those less fortunate than we. Help us Lord to do the things You did when You walked on this earth. Help us to be an instrument of Your love and compassion.
We pray for the unsaved. We know it is Your desire that all be saved. We pray people will make the right choice and follow after thee. Help us to look beyond ourselves and see You. We are living in perilous times as Paul said. In times like these we need to be desperate for You. Help us Lord to seek Your face in all things. We need You Lord. Help us Lord to keep our lamps trimmed and burning for Your soon return. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Be Blessed Because You are Blessed,
