GOD STILL HEALS
Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
We or someone we love may be experiencing sickness and pain right now. I want you to know healing is available today just as it was spoken of in Old and New Testament scriptures. The God that healed then is still healing today. I want to encourage you to hold on, hang on, but don’t give up on God.
The God we serve is able to do all things but fail. He is a miracle working God, He can do what no others can do. Remember that whatever we’re facing or going through, our God is greater. Have faith in God. When man has exhausted their means, God is well able to do the impossible, for He is the God of impossibilities.
The chastisement of our peace is upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. He took on our grief, He carried our sorrows, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. He did all this for us, let us accept what He did by our faith. I am so glad that He did what He did. Our God heals today.
Let’s Pray.
Father God, thank You for Your healing power that reigns today as in times past. We find encouragement, strength, and peace in the midst of sickness, pain and struggles in Your Word. We look to You Lord for healing and deliverance. We trust and believe You to be our Healer for Your Word tells us so. We pray for spiritual healing, physical healing, and emotional healing to take place in the mighty name of Jesus. Help us Lord to stand on Your precious promises when we receive overwhelming news. Help us remember that You are the Almighty God and nothing is too difficult for You. Move mightily Lord on the behalf of all that are going through right now. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
